, out of character rules
a. Staff Members are like God. Please respect them.
b. We have these rules in place for a reason. Please follow them; we dont want to be wasting our time writing these things if no one was going to listen to them.
c. We do not have a set word count, but please try to have atleast two paragraphs at most.
d. Yes, this is a semi-literate/literate site. That means no one-liners.
e. Keep your despies and your mary/gary sues locked up. They will not be allowed here, so dont even try to bring them in.
f. Out of character fighting is disrespectful, please dont even think about starting a fight because your not used to the literacy here or a member is picking on you.
g. If you have a question, feel free to PM an admin or post it on the general board.
h. We do have a warning system here; its simple to follow, and easy to remember.
" one strike - a public warning. two strikes - a week's suspension three strikes - banning. "
i. Chatspeak? Not allowed. At all. No, 'brb', no 'g2g', none of that shit. Its annoying and not everyone needs to read it.
j. KeEp YoUr FiNgErS AwAy FrOm ThE sHiFt KeY. Not that anyone types like that anymore, thank god.
k. Like rule number one, just please remember to respect everyone on the site.
, role-playing rules
1. No powerplaying. This means you cannot have an automatic hit everytime there is a fight. Its rude and no one likes it.
2. The same thing goes for godmoding. Your character cannot be perfect in every way, shape, or form.
3. Check your spelling. Yeah, everyone has their off days, but there's a spell check button there for a reason!
4. Keep your characters as origonal as possible. This is set in modern time; not 1403 bc or something.
5. Please keep your fonts small. It makes it easier on the eyes and it makes it easier to keep a long post from stretching the page too much.
[these rules are subject to be changed. make sure you look here for the recently updated date.]
